Microgreen describes green vegetable or herb that have edible leaves and are harvested at the coteleydon growth stage of growth, when the first set of true leaves sprout.

We grow leafy greens such as kale, arugula, beet greens, onions, radish greens, sunflower, Kale, bok choy and herbs such as cilantro, basil, parsley and chives. for restaurants, and farmers markets, and as part of our New Leaf Fresh Salad Mix.

Microgreens differ from sprouts because spouts are grown in water only, whereas microgreens are grown in our special soil mix that where they absorb minerals that increase there nutrients and nutritional value.

Microgreens are a good source of beta-carotene, iron, and calcium, but do vary depending on the greens you are eating.

Microgreens are a delicious and healthy addition to almost any salad or recipe.

Chefs love them.
